How to use it
One line a day, recording what happened rather than how you felt. Include the things that went badly, because a log containing only wins cannot tell you when to change approach, which is the main thing a log is for. The value is almost entirely retrospective, so read the whole month in one sitting at the end.

Evidence log
M is movement. L is learning. D is a disconfirmation, meaning something you believed turned out to be wrong.

Common questions
What is an evidence log?
A dated record of specific things that happened while you worked toward a direction, including the ones that did not work. It records facts rather than feelings, which is why it survives bad weeks.
How is this different from a gratitude journal?
Gratitude asks what went well, which has no honest answer on a bad week. An evidence log asks what happened, which always does.
Why record things that went badly?
Because they are what tell you when to change your approach. Six weeks of an outreach channel producing nothing is the entry that saves you the seventh.
